Hello and welcome to my website, My name is Monique, Monz for short and I am the creator behind everything "MONZART"

I have been doing arty things as long as I can remember - from writing my name on the wall when I was young ..haha oops, sorry Mum! To now, trying new things all the time and adding them into my art and just see what happens!
I am a mixed media artist and I have sold artworks all over the world (thanks internet!) and am so so grateful for the love I get for my creations, knowing they bring joy to others...even the ones I don't want to sell!..This happens a lot!
(mixed media basically means I can use more than one medium on my canvas or creation... eg I can use acrylic paint, oil paint and some inks and collage all in one piece!...I see it as free reign of possibilities.)
My plan is to keep creating artworks in my own unique way, and hopefully have others see that and have the courage to do the same! Took me aaaages to get the courage to just say they are for sale!! It definitely took some nudging though... after two people saying "when your art is for sale can you let me know?" is when I realised I never even said they were, I was just showing them in hope someone loved it enough to ask to buy it!
Sounds stupid but it was a real fear for me and the only person standing in my way was me!
Being able to create something with my own two hands that can bring joy to people all over the world!? THAT, to me is magical :)
So little bit about me and my love of other parts of my life..
I love classic cars and get me behind the wheel of a V8 and I am one happy lady!! I love tattoos, the beach, all kinds of music depending on my mood and always love a good book.
I am a bit of a movie buff love me some Marvel & DC!!
I am far from perfect and love myself for it, it only took (almost) 30 years! I have tattoos, red hair, freckles all over my body and I have learnt to love each and every single one of them because they are mine and I am the only me.
I love meeting new people and learning what brings them joy! What brings out their passionate side? Listening to someone talk about their passion and watching them light up is one of the best things ever!
I love nutella, and all the colours of the ocean,
blues and greens are my jam. But in saying that I am a sucker for florals and anything with butterflies, wings or classic cars on it!
My favorite places are being with the people I love, creating and planning artworks and of course sitting at the beach watching and listening to the waves crashing. I love to be out in nature
(with sunblock & a hat of course - thanks red hair!)
I am 100% a dog person due to their undeniable ability to always be excited to see you and love you unconditionally.
I love to paint with bright colours as they bring me immense joy. I am a big fan of mermaids, Disney & all things magical.
I see art in everything and have a million photos in my phone of things I have been inspired by - each and every day.
The other million photos are of my 2 beautiful nieces and 2 cheeky nephews whom I love dearly and wouldn't change for the world.
